The oil & gas industry is a sinking ship, not just Noble. The hubris that people demonstrate during times like these is laughable. Why do people who get laid off or get fired or don't get what they want become so convinced that they were such an important asset to the company and that the company must be sinking ship full of management assholes, liars and crooks? Wake up shitheads! You got laid off because oil & gas is in trouble and your number came up! Move on and find yourself another job. Stop whining and get back to work!

ok, I'll use easier words for 197717 to better understand: Exchange the word "hubris" for something like "why do people think so much of themselves". Is that better for you? Now do you get it? Apparently you are one of the laid off that think the success of the company hinged on you just showing up to work and "gracing" the company with your mere presence. If you are all that, then finding another job shouldn't be a problem! In fact, being laid off shouldn't be an issue with you at all! Here's another word for you to run to Google with: LOSER.
