@"Just tired" - how are we helping students when we are loading them with so much debt that they will never be able to pay off. We sell false hopes of better tomorrow and all of know it. There are some exceptions to this principle, but in general we do more harm than good. I have difficult time coping with this. With two kids and no spouse, my options are limited, if I could chose, I would not be here any more. I know the axe will fall soon and this time I will not be able to avoid it (my dpt got hit 5 times in last 4 years)
Those that doubt this information may want to stop by their local pharmacy to buy some " Recti-Care". Your assholes are going to bleed soon.
That's what am. I'm just tired of it all. Right now it's incredibly stressful to be in an environment that is so unstable. Some of the stuff written on this site is so hateful and not true, but some of the things said are accurate. I just hope work gets better, because I really like helping students.
Regardless of what happens it is always important to follow the lead of upper level people before they announce leaving for a new job. These folks seems to always end up with allergic reactions to something or have more fevers than in the past ten years. Oh and by the way, the seem to leave with little to no sick time in the system -- go figure.
