A lot of other companies who faced significant cuts did things the right way...get rid of middle management across the board. Because let's face it, middle management is completely worthless.
Not that Noble ever does what makes sense, but I hope for once they make a smart decision. There are quite a few members of middle management in the MBU who get paid big money to serve no purpose. Getting rid of the higher paid dead weight could save so many "boots on the ground" employees who actually work and deserve to be here.
My supervisor is nothing more than a liason between Canonsburg and Houston. Everyone sees it except the people who should. We functioned just fine, if not better before she was brought in. No one in the department likes or respects her, but she will probably stay unless upper management finally cuts the fat. If not, good luck to Noble Energy. We're ALL doomed.
