Its the best company in the world because you get lots of money all the time and even if your performance is poor the company still takes care of you. There is no other company in the world who would do that for you.

Perhaps one improvement over not being obliged to eat with upper management might be an incentive scheme where we get the chance to eat one of the upper management.
I like to call it the Soylent Green initiative. It helps alleviate the financial burden of buying your own lunch and weeds out the worst performing (difficult to choose among the current herd) execs.
employees get to eat from a burger truck in the car park once a year at christmas time and we have to pay for it ourselves as we don't have expense accounts. we do really enjoy it though and appreciate that weatherford management do allow the burger truck to use the car park even if they do charge them for it and we end up paying a bit more for the burgers but they tase real good. The reason I love working with weather ford is that we don't have to eat with upper management

I have always enjoyed the steak and potatoe lunch at the country club on Fridays . Weatherford really treats it's employees well. ... Is this something all employees enjoy or just upper management ?
Hi and justa quick update! The best story so far is from 196384.......we really like this one and great job showing some real creativity that we know all our employees have! There is plenty time for more so keep em coming folks and just think about that relaxing weekend in Dubai!
So there is no need to follow procedures in weatherford. That's a scarey concept for an international oilfield company and I don't think I would like to be in one of your rigs with that approach!!!

how much money did you lose the company doing this? No wonder we are going broke
because you treat us fairly and pay us well for what we do and there is no need to follow procedures in weatherford and employees have complete freedom to do as they like which sometimes can get me in trouble but I enjoy that freedom too. Just as an example - when I was a country manager the company allowed me to follow my own business instinct and I could develop specific solutions for my clients problems with the companies money. Our clients loved it and even if we didnt always solve their problems weatherford allowed me to spend a lot of money on trying to help our customers out.
