What is the likelihood of Norfolk Southern layoffs in Norfolk in 2016? Please let me know if you have any information.

They one ended a pool and took work from Toledo. No rhyme or reason. They didn't save any money doing it. Cut 37 jobs when they abolished the pool, and violated ALL agreements. Running longer trains with DP power in the middle. Word is more chops to come. I wouldn't put anything past Squires or his managers at this point. They are ADDING spots in management, however. SMH.
There will be a major shakeup in NS corporate headquarters with mass layoffs across the board in all departments for non-essential employees. Expected as last measure before hostile takeover. No one is secure at this point.

I was let go today 12/28/15. More layoffs are coming in the near future....
