I had been doing the training (or knowledge transfer as HCL says it) for a week. None of the HCL guys impress me. One guy doesn’t even know the technology we are using; he just keeps nodding his head and pretends he knows the stuff. Another guy tries to act like my boss already. To me, they are just whole bunch of mediocre over weighed tech guys (yes, many of them are fat!) with very bad Indian attitude who tries to look down on you. What make matter worse is, these guys who are suppose the best from HCL are not going to stay around to do the job, a second wave of cheaper HCL guys will come and do the job based on the half correct runbooks they had created. Lastly, I found out most of them are directly flying from India and none of them is American.

nope, sorry HCL shill... the original poster is correct. Worthless. Not even in the same league as the folks at BD. I've seen both. Cheaper product, service that matches the cheap price.

They chose to take a job instead of being unemployed. As for the Indian guys I met, one was from Australia and the other lived in Milwaukee for 7 years.
You get what you pay for.... Bigger, Better Bolder BD....
