Well, it certainly backs up what I was told by HR that 55% of GOM will be let go in 2016. Hmm! and those arrogant bastards still walk around with the air of entitlement doing nothing but wasting good oxygen. list of to-dos: get popcorn, pull up chair, watch bloodbath. (and if i'm caught up in it ill still get the satisfaction of watching the reality deflate their over inflated egos.).
Can you pump ?
The cuts will be primarily in Australia, Angola (will be expats and capital project people, not nationals) and the US. Also, as many expats as possible are going to be returning to their home countries...that might lighten the hit to the US workforce slightly since that will create some open positions.
Where are the cuts targeted?
And right after I post that Watson confirms where the cuts will be focused. And the Angola cuts will be almost exclusively expats.
Host countries and NOC partners are pissed about the last round of cuts, so expect the next cuts to be targeted in the US, Australia and other locations without NOC partners.
Yep doesn't matter. Better hope you have friends PSG 26+
Won't matter what your PMP number is. Didn't matter in the first go round. It's all politics.
That's a lot of freakin jobs. Last time was 1,500 and this time is 6,000 to 7,000. Hold on tight if you are not a 2+ or a 1 it might be a rough road. Not good not good at all
