Noble is paying the Broncos big big bucks for advertising the Noble logo in their stadium! We had a meeting on it.

Noble keeps trying to do things to enhance their image in Colorado. TV ads of young chicks jogging thru a park... young Noble mountain climbers scaling the most impossible Colorado peaks... being an official sponsor of the Denver Broncos...etc. Then they get tagged with $72 million fine by Colorado regulators for escaping methane in the DJ Basin and now they will be laying off a plethora of people in Colorado. These actions will make more impact on their "branding" efforts than any TV commercials. It clear that Noble's sincerity is only skin deep. They are more concerned about image and branding than they are about the fundamentals of their business.
Just remember this contract was signed before the 2014/15 season when oil prices were still good. Not sure it's easy to back out of something like that...
