How many of you dumb ass Americans even know where Canada is?? Do you know what direction North is? Give them a cold beer, a gun, and a pickup truck and they figure the world is good. Most of you morons couldn't pass a friggin grade 6 geography test. I have worked with Americans all over the world. Bunch of great guys, but dumber than shit on a shingle. No fellows, oil was not invented in Texas, and no Houston is not the centre of the Universe, neither is Midland. Get in your truck, grab a dozen beer and go shoot whatever runs across the road.

Rather than arbitrarily chop away at numbers, based on the whims of your management (or more specifically; those managers who don't have the balls to fight for their guys) the new policy is to expect a level of grammatical and spelling competency. Well maybe if the U.S. people were compitant enough to do the job, they wouldn't have needed to bring Canadians over to do them for you. Just because your pissed that Weatherford is laying people off, just like a lot of other oilfield companies, doesn't give you the right to pick at where they come from. They have Mexicans, French, Australian, etc etc working for the company all over ONE Weatherford, your gonna start saying they need to go back too.........Want some cheese to go along with that whining?
Any word on what divisions are getting hit? Numbers? field of office staff?
Why don't they start with the Canadians in the US that don't have their green cards? Especially the high dollar managers that can easily be replaced with people who are from the US and would cost the company a lot less!
