These bitches (gay and straight me included) are the biggest crop of control freak crybabies I have ever encountered. If you disagree with their "design direction" in the slightest and don't bow to their every whim they message your director/ and or manager like their asses were on fire and tattle on you. No give and take as promised folks, and the ice cream wasn't all that fantastic.

Haters gonna Hate but the NYC has more than carried it's fair share over the years while Barbie has sucked us into a financial black hole and EA has stunk up the pre-school aisle with toys that no one is interested in anymore.
When did we become such victims? I see people adding immense value every day across every discipline. I see people show up at work and put in tremendous effort and surprise of surprises, even have fun doing it! No one can make us enjoy our jobs. It's a choice we have to make every single day. Some days it's really hard. But what would it look like if we chose greatness over bitterness?
The end of the NYC office can't come soon enough. Obviously a dysfunctional place that isn't pulling its weight. Mattel doesn't need offices like this. The only reason something like this exists is internal politics. If Sinclair was a real leader this mess would be gone tomorrow and the company would save the cost of all the excess baggage (management) there.
The NYC office used to be so tight back when Neil F. ran it. So sad to read how dysfunctional it is now.
Let's not piss off the people that are tasked with driving design for our company, because let's face it, The folks that are SUPPOSED to be churning out top level designs are too busy running around the office like assclowns in silly outfits and playing games with the mailroom bozos or posting pics of themselves being creative on social media instead of where they are getting paid to do so. Don't blame marketing for having to pick up the slack for lazy designers.

The NY FP marketing team is stuck in their own fantasy world. They are so closed minded and they have no idea about making and marketing decent toys for children. To them it's all about cost reducing everything, who uses the most marketing buzz words in their presentations/meetings, and who has the best powerpoint. If you can do all of these things successfully, you will get a promotion. A bunch of narcissistic and shallow people if you ask me.
