But we live in a shitty little town and there not many jobs, unless you'd rather work for less money at a fast food chain, call center or assisted living facility. Most TMs wish we got the severance money. We get treated like we can't do a good enough job by both customer and leadership no matter how above and beyond we go. Not a good situation. Our customers are dusty, bitter old turds who couldn't be satisfied or delighted if we offered a free BJ on their way out and leadership spends their time deligating all the actual work and then settle into their favorite computer chair for 8 hours of fondling their own balls. I apply for jobs in the area daily... Wish me and the other genuinely hard-working, sweet people I work with luck as we find our way out of this toxic environment.

You must be referring to the Dayton Ohio store
I wonder if we work in the same store... Many of us feel stuck because we've worked at wf long enough that taking any other job available in our town would be a significant pay cut. There's a Trader Joe's and a Cosco opening soon, I think the entire store is going to try to get hired on when they do.
