Apparently there is someone in love with Numar, guess what, it's about less than 1 percent total revenue. So whatever, get over your sour grapes. When you talk LWD/DD it's about price, technology, reliability, and availability. SLB usually leads in everything but price while baker and Sperry fight for second. Weatherford picks up the scraps and tries to get in the door with price

The thing about Baker is they just can't make a profit, look at their last 3 earnings reports, you can have all the nice shiny tools you want, but you need to make money with them, poor Baker, their nice shiny toys and no where to play with them. Thank your mgmt.

Sperry will probably be glad to get out from under HAL. They have good people, lag on some technology, but overall deliver on what they do, plus they make money (profit)

It will be interesting to see who is in position to take advantage when market recovers. I have my doubts on whether Weatherford will be a factor anymore.

We will see what GE thinks after they open that box marked Numar.

Lol. Funny. I'm sure GE thinks differently about those comments.

Sperry is a perfectly good tier 2 LWD company. It's just needs to acknowledge that and bid on that type of work.

The sooner it gives up trying to contend with Baker and Schlum, the sooner it can get work by focusing on small cap companies.
