Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

SPIRIT Values! Hah!

So, those of you who are familiar with the SPIRIT values this company touts like some mantra for the masses.

I can tell you from personal experience from being under three different supervisors 2 male and 1 female - that integrity is not among management here.

It shows in the decisions that are made that upper management is ill informed, middle management is out of touch, and lower management is nothing but tyrannical.

We constantly try to keep up with joneses by upgrading to buggy software with crappy vendor support (thus contributing to the wastage that this company spends).

Want a job opportunity, project opportunity, or promotion? Just kiss enough butt and you might get it. If you show up to work - keep your head down - work hard - doesn't matter if you work hard and do your job right! That's secondary at best!
