The whole liberal world is trying to tame global warming in Paris. They finally agreed that the fossil fuel industry is on the wrong side of history. The accord urges investors and financial institutions to divest from fossil fuels. This marks the end of the era of fossil fuels. To meet the targets laid out in the agreement, oil and gas must remain in the ground. RIP to all oil field employees.

Good luck with that happening. Once people get a good taste of the real estate foot print of solar cell plants and wind mill farms and costs associated with renewables they'll come crying back for fossil fuels
What is the difference between co2 consumption by a forest vs co2 consumption by a farm. Both contain plants. All Plants breath in co2, not just trees. In a rainforest the canopy of the trees actually inhibits growth of anything on the floor due because the canopy blocks light. I would venture there are more individual plants in a farm into the billions more, all breathing Co2 rather than in a rainforest. Use your brain. Forest probably has couple of millio trees. Farms have billions of crops. Do the math. Dont believe the hype.
Why can't cows be GMed to fart ozone? Am I the only one thinking here? Might need to keep them a distance from the tractor tires but that is simple logistics.
They had their chance in the 80s they waited 30 years to wake up its too little too late. Best interview I heard was talking about trying to find a way of taking carbons out of the atmosphere hmmmm it was called the Rain Forest in the 80s its now called Amazon farm. Clapping their hands at a 2.75 degree cut when 1.5 was the minimum target and throwing just a $100B at the problem really lets start building the Ark folks. Oil & Gas is not to blame for all of this for instance I could heat my home and run my car on the daily methane farted out from a cow then again cows look cute with their black and white leather coats. WAIT!!!! a world without juicy steaks and fast cars f--- it lets have a beach party tonight
