Investor sites telling everyone to avoid Hal stock. Halliburton board determine to make merger work no matter what it takes even selling off loads more areas. Problem is only GE is available to buy and may not buy. If they do buy it would be fire sell prices. Several countries against merger believe it would be at least January before even considered. End result could be devastating to Halliburton. Wrong deal at the wrong time. Meanwhile oil going towards $20.

Quite a Monday for the 'mergermaniacal team'. FlippinNino Garcia battling Bloomberg inside sources, blaming govt. for not having information on what they need to do. Looks like the AC isn't working in the kitchen. Nothing will happen tomorrow, old HAL hasn't had time to spin their story yet. Mr. Lesar, where are you? How's that deal improving our situation in this market? You have effectively turned your own drilling and mwd services against you. Good luck with getting that group back on your side. It really doesn't matter to me which way the deal goes. It's the families that depend on their jobs and are a paycheck away from being in dire straits that I feel for in this cruel business. All indications are the beuracracy will not be ready till March '16 even if the deal goes through.

Well it looks like the top executive was right. Deserves his high salary. I never would have guessed it. That's why he is where he is and I am trailer trash.
What about all the people who worked in the field who supplied the service to the customers. And brought in the money. Toolmen.cementers.frackers crews.wireline. and many more.people with 20-40 years service.
Discarded like a old pair of shoes.powerpoint is the future.
Also tons of engineering tallent gone for good. Tons of soft skill PowerPoint jockeys retained.
Sad to say. This will be Halliburtons swan song. Thousands layed off. Stock going lower and lower.
Who will be held accountable?
Just two days away. Any update from the top executive? Is he still pessimistic?
Top management need to be held accountable for this Baker fiasco.
The Executives and Directors can still be sued. I believe fraud charges should be laid. I think an investigation will reveal evidence that for over 6 months they knew the possibility of the merger being approved by Europe, Brazil and Australia was slim.
Just a few days away and yet they can predict deal will not pass? These guys are good! Now I know why they make millions. I never would have guessed that.
If merger doesn't happen all the top management will have to go for losing billions for nothing.
One site said Hal is begging for approval.
Sell that stock now or loose it all.
January is the earliest month that Europe will decide whether to approve the merger. So like no s$#% Sherlock, have you been reading the previous posts?
