When I hear the same story, from 3+ respectable source (from 3 different Target pyramids nonetheless), I begin to see "rumor" becoming more "likely future event". As such, late January/early February is earmarked as the potential next round of layoffs.

Definitely something coming after peak. I'm hearing more re-org. But there are so many people in TTS who have no business being in IT that I wouldn't be surprised to see some let go. Although that would require management and HR who had a clue... so who knows.
Get rid of some of the KMGs and PG18s from edabi or whatever that group is called..
Sounds like everyone thinks TTS will have cuts, what other areas?
Get used to Target's new Fall calendar: Black Friday, Holiday Sales, Post-Holiday Clearance, layoffs. I hate to be blunt, but it's the new norm. The shine has worn off this brand and Cornell, while he made a big splash upon entry, doesn't seem to make the big changes needed. The culture stinks and unless they admit that JK defines this, 90% of the people punch the clock and that's it. I left a while ago and can't get over the number of people asking for help to find something new.
Who would eat at sweet basils @ETIqYua-xkn?
Need to get rid of All devOOps resource waste and the .com cloud teams! Worthless liars spinning nonexistent value of their home built crap! Get rid of them all, start from scratch, move to Texas!

I think a lot of us can recommend a few so called team members for the next round of layoffs #worthless.
Well, it's time for TGT to stop paying excessive compensation to uncapable managers, uncapable BA's, uncapable PM's and uncapable directors.
There is no question that TTS will be undergoing more layoffs during that time frame. There is no way the company funds enough projects to justify current expense. There are not enough contractors around anymore to absorb the coming expense reduction ask. See you in the unemployment line.
Usually its Target HR who start these rumors hoping for natural attrition.
Well 1-2% comp sales growth kinda indicates we have not fueled anyone's passion for shopping at Target, despite all the hype. So yes, expect layoffs.
Agreed with the comment above. TTS Leadership have been holding closed door meetings regarding the topic at hand. In addition, with expense pressures above and beyond what the "Finance Team" helped quantify - one can imagine what comes next.
Let's hope so. I've got 3 people I'm currently working with to recommend for layoff - #worthless.
