I shouldn't have slept on Hilcorp. In 2010, each employee had the option to choose between a $50K car or a $35K cash bonus. There is a role model for you Lance!

If you look into this more the $100k was for reaching various 5 year goals set at the corporate level or $20k per year. I'm sure others received a healthy annual bonus also. Some of the Hilcorp folks that developed the Eagle Ford assets purchased by MRO received $1 million bonuses on closing. Not sure what to say other than move on if you think the grass is greener elsewhere.
