Also, poor HR and no perks - I think the compensation is poor if compared against competitors - what else to add, no awards/rewards no parties. We had no budget for team events and EDs tightly manage budgeting and forecasting

I left the Mumbai office a few months back. Some of the Department / Business Unit heads have incredible power and take nasty decisions which ain't aligned to the firm values and culture. It's a really bad thing and you may want to consider this if you laid off - maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

I thought this is affecting the United States only
