Vacation pay out

Anyone knows how the unused vacation is paid out?

Today I received my last check :(

But no unused vacations was included.

I know I should ask HR, but find it more therapeutic to hear from this board (when the posts are not about gloom and doom)

Final check with Vacation came 2-3 business days for me.

Severance check came about a month after I sent in the paper that says I will not sue for age discrimination.

It would make sense if they sent the vacation with the severance. Sent it early for me, but I was expecting them to wait until I agreed not to sue.

Yep, what the first poster said.

I contacted HR and they said my final check with my vacation payout will come in the next pay cycle.

Now, when do we expect our severance letters to arrive?

My remaining vacation was included in my final check, which was not direct deposited, but arrived at my home via FedEx. However, given the current chaos underway, things are likely in flux, so just keep an eye out for it and contact HR if you don't receive it this month. Note that by policy your vacation is earned on the first day of the year, so you are owed any remaining unused vacation for 2015.

Vacation check is issued separate from pay check.

This may not be your last check. Your last day at Chevron is probably December 8 which means you will get another pay check on December 22 for "hours worked" from December 1 - December 8. I expect my vacation pay to be in that December 22 paycheck.
