I work for Sprint and I am trying to do an outstanding job. Every day. This paycheck supports my son and I. There are a lot of people that do a great job and take care of their families with this company. I hope I get to keep my job.

hope that works out for you - does not matter how great of a job you do - you get older or make too much money you will be a goner too! After severance is over they will raise your phone plan by over 50% and expect you to stay - they (management) are just nuts
Try to get another job. I tried working my butt off for the creeps... really working much more than 1 person's work (some forced, though). Depends on the favoritism/politics. Happier that I am no longer there.
Depends on what you do. Is your position redundant? Is it possible to outsource your work? Those are the questions I would be asking yourself. Good luck.
