Gainsharing is a thing of the past. #WFMteammember
It used to be when you worked your rear off and were understaffed there was always the silver lining of gain sharing to keep your spirits up and help you push through. That is gone and now you get disgruntled and unmotivated employees (no team members here, no more BS PLEASE) who have no incentive to push on. It just isn't worth it. They keep trimming the budget anyway. There is no end.
Yeah since it is gone pretty much i no longer care if the store makes sales..that just means more work for our understaffed team..it may as well be slow cuz i will still get the hourly pay..septs. is right, they skim this money to pay off fat cats.and how do you have an understaffed team with some comps and still not make labor? How did they come up with that algorithm formula??
they have been trying to figure out a way to get rid of gainsharing since a.c gallo joined the company.the first benefits vote we had did a prelim. vote that had a curious mistake in the framing of what to do with gainsharing..people complained so they left it.since then they have been tweeking budgets and skimming off the top to pay off wall street.they cant just get rid of it they have to make it look like we voted for the end or make it practically non-existent so that they can offer us a new benefit like 25%tm discount(which ultimately helps them)..going going....gone....
