Those taxpayers keep voting for the politicians who prop the degree factories.
The real sucker in this mess is the taxpayer. Most of them are too stupid to realize they gave a trillion dollars to these diploma mills a decade ago that will never be repaid.
I got for fired by a micromanager. The ironic thing was she was the opposite of micro.....huge as hell with very little critical thinking skills. I feel a little guilty because now I am happy with no more boiler room bullshit. Now Obama pays me to stay home and have fun. Thanks Obama!
I hire and will not bring on for-profit grads. They are not well-polished and we would be embarrassed by their stupidity in customer-facing positions.
I wouldn't go that far. When I hire for non-technical positions, a degree tells me that someone had the perseverance to complete a degree, and has the requisite intelligence that goes along with a degree. Honestly, though, I tend to place less credibility with U of P, and zero credibility with Everest and similar schools.
