It was probably a simple software update. Each post has a hash-based id, and each reply an addition to the post ID. It's on all posts on this site. The replies are still there. But be afraid if you want to.

Yup, several things have changed, maybe Mat-Hell paid off this website. Posts have been edited and deleted, and suddenly each post has an ID number. Sinclair is closing in on the position of our secret rebel stronghold. Arise, freedom fighters, our time is nigh! Time to rise up against our oppressors. Let's roll!
