For the ones that still have a job - be thankful that you survived another culling and will made it through the holidays without worrying about a paycheck. To the ones that have been let go this year - it was painful at first, but you are either working in a better company by now or you are pursuing opportunities with an optimistic attitude. To the ones that retired - good luck and may you find a hobby or second career to keep you busy as you should not have to worry about money with the generous severance and pension the company has provided.
