Executives and people in senior management are not laid off. They retire, the company throws a big party, and NRFPT Dave issues a statement about how the person's wise counsel will be missed. Often, the company pays them a year's salary for "consulting." Look for three or four announcements after the first of the year.

I heard through the grapevine..Noble will target management in their next layoffs.
Noble management is a command and control organizational structure! do as your manager says....... when your manager says...... and how your manager says....... or face the consequences during the next reduction in force. It is unfortunate that most of these managers should be let go, but they do as their manager say....
That "spilled milk" comment was some real breakthrough thinking. Must have been one of those brilliant Noble managers.
Crying over spilled milk
There is LESS "breakthrough thinking" at this company than any other place I've ever worked. It's amazing. Apparently these managers have never been to a GAP seminar. "Lets just hire everyone who is breathing and then we will just lay them off when we don't need them anymore". That's brilliant!
Now that is what I call BREAKTHROUGH thinking.
Don't fix the problem. Just keep throwing off deck chairs.
Genius!!
Noble may avoid more layoffs. Most everyone is trying to leave on their own. Even in a down market people are finding other jobs.
If not sooner. The people who are left at Noble are trying to get out, but they can't because all of the severed Nobles have flooded the market!
