I'm in the ACC. The department which rarely sees the cuts. Mostly because when they layoff eras they pass on their cold calling to us. It's weird calling people who were assigned ers already.. And then reassigning them to a new one. Awkward not telling we called them because their ers were layer off.
Now we have relocated to another building... A smaller one.
The supervisors are hypervigilent sending us emails and coaching us for minute issues aka: coming back from lunch a minute late. Or being too insistent or not enough. Micromanagement time. Seriously for once I'm actually seeing supervisors look like they have a job.. Which is to make us miserable. Then pass around ice pops to make us feel better.
I learned a lot working here. How not to take no for answer. How to feign concern. Give folks hope that our diploma will get them a job. To prey on the most vulnerable population and sell them a dream.
I stuck it through to witness first hand what happens when people rely on school to get them___. Fools gold!
