Tommy says apparel is suffering. They had put a man in charge of apparel that came from Guns and Ammunition. What does he know about apparel ? His business was good during the big gun scare during the last Presidential election and the unfortunate Sandy Hook incident. Then they reward him with a promo. Now apparel suffers. Go figure that one out.

They need some clothes for TALL people. you would think they realize with the beasts shopping into their stores that a Big & Tall section might just be what they need.
Hi al,l not only the prices but the styles ugh!!!! We need to carry clothes for a younger crowd, we cannot compete selling Goodwill rejects . The sizes are warped as well, we carry 5x and larger for men, and we carry only up to 2x in womens but only certain brands also all the womens sizes are at least 2 sizes smaller than everyone elses reality.
Maybe a few more bad quarterly earnings results will shake things up enough. Our department has Instinct line of products and the prices on them are too damn high. The products do not move unless put on sale for competitive pricing. So we have inventory that takes up space and is sunken money, for what? Most customers do not want to spend a ton of money.
The prices are insane! Some stuff went up $20 in less then a year. The new instinct camo is more then under armour! $200 for a Base layer men's top ARE YOU KIDDING! That is why apparel is hurting ! Found a pair of women's snow pants that were 3x's the summit price! It's not rocket science! !
The prices of the clothing are crazy. Might as well just buy the brand name stuff.
We sell thru certain clothing then it takes up to 2 months to get more in! They send us clothing people aren't buying, colors are horrible and some styles are awful!! I wish they would get a clothing buyer with some common sense! We can't keep our store full ,BUT keep opening more stores! I think they want to open 20 + stores in the next 2 years !!RIDICULOUS! !
