Agree. On the earnings conference call they said that the useless GRDP program is still going forward. These college grads make more money than some people who have been here 10years plus with way more experience but getting laid off. AGE DISCRIMINATION! They normally aren't busy at all and work on unnecessary projects.
GDRP's and blackbelts were sent to Italy. How did that one work out for you?
The only GRDP's I met with my tenure at Cameron were absolutely useless. One plant manager prior GRDP absolutely destroyed the business. One that is now VP has no idea how to manage but very good at stroking his superiors. Many work into the Black Belt rolls which are pointless. Bad idea, bad program. Please learn from mistakes going forward, but then again, no one in management stays in a job long enough to have a real evaluation of performance......
You forget that there is also a TDP program. They also get hired in droves and interview during expensive dinners.
