Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Does anyone have solid data on the number of "voluntary" layoffs yesterday? I keep hearing it was around 1000

892 there were dozens in Dallas. Anywhere else?

Arizona Republic yesterday had a quote from Apollo stating it offered "buyouts" to 450 Phoenix area employees. I suspect the real number is higher.

Not effective until Nov 19th. But you have until Nov 6th to make a decision.

Depends on your location and dept. 30 out of 150 in my dept.

And estimates of another 1000 in January
