Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Dear Greg Cappelli,

I am so very sorry about your $10 stock price. This must be putting a serious strain on your insider trading practices. I've been closely watching you magically dump tens of thousands of shares just at the right times over the past several years. This must be putting a strain on your lifestyle. You poor soul. Don't worry. I'm sure that 8% drop in enrollment from the DoD lockout won't hurt too badly. I'm sure that you will still have a wonderful Christmas with your family. Just lay off more employees before the holiday season like you have been doing over the past 2 years. Perhaps by dumping a few hundred folks that have dedicated years of their life to your failed efforts, you can fudge the numbers enough to your investors where you will still get a bonus, quickly dump another 50,000 to 75,000 shares, and buy yourself something obnoxious for the birthday of Jesus Christ.

Hang in there, buddy. And go f### yourself.

Interesting... Cappelli dumped stock in August of both 2014 & 2015 before the end of progressively worse fiscal years. Over $6M dollars worth of stock.... juuuust beforw the fiscal report.

Keep in mind, this was not stock that he's been hanging on to for years and years. Oh no! If you simply look at the amount of stock he possesses throughout the year, it just keeps filling up. He always gets a big fat bonus of new stock every year.

Here's what's even better! Look at all of the fatcats that have cashed in for yourselves. When they let you go with almost nothing, before the holidays, knowimg you have families, know that they have all cashed out more over the past two years than you will make in your lifetime. Share this link with orhers. Do the math. Then say to yourself, "There was a time when people showed up at the hes of folks lile this with pitchforks and torches. They collectively took back what was rightfully theirs, and destroyed the lives of those who treated masses this way."

Here. Lool for yourself...

I, too, worked there. (14 years). Made a good living, and was let go with a lot of others in 2012. It' s a shame what these so-called leaders do to honest, hard working people. I almost lost everything, and will probably never catch back up. What baffles me is that the $$ John Sperling was reportedly worth (~30 billion), all from Apollo Group, would now be able to buy the company about 30 times over. I hope his coffin is comfortable and that they dressed him in his asbestos underwear because he's probably going to need it where he's going. And to all the brainwashed, good talking managers with so-called masters degrees from this place who I had to listen too kissing up to the directors--you made me sick. You're creepy and eerie.

@969--perfect screed. F*** UOP. Executives have ridden this whore into the ground. Good riddance. Title IV funds will be suspended early next year, and UOP will soon be history thereafter.
