Is there anyone that is happy at Noble anymore?

I was with Noble for several years and have seen a few down turns in the industry, but Noble never had to lay off like they are now. I suspect the board has dropped the ball by putting the present executives in place.
The industry will bounce back but buying foam fingers and feather boas will not keep this company solvent.

I don't know that many people "working their ass off". Most of the "kids" i work with don't work one minute longer than they have too. Constantly surfing the web and checking their Facebook. You can set your watch to it. In at 7 gone at 5... no matter what. These are the people Noble has hitched their future to... and to the exclusion of senior people who they have mostly laid off. Why because they get paid less. Noble is getting what it bargained for.
Yeah too late Dude. We have all worked hard to make the company successful. No matter how hard we work we can't overcome $45 oil and management blunders out the ying-yang. Floors of people doing nothing... the jig is up at Noble. They don't need a lot of people to run the two rigs working in the DJ. Best to prepare yourself for that, brush up your resume and do your best to find other employment. It just is what it is.
"It's the people who want to stay are your slackers". Is one of the most ignorant comments I've seen on this site... Maybe in your world you have some slap dicks just milking the system, but I know a large majority of people dedicated to working their ass off to make this company great.
I am happy to have work in this environment. Oddly enough, I am happy with the information on the 25% more the Rosetta workers are getting. This information is invaluable as I now know what I can get when I leave Noble after the market improves. I have actually met a few of the Rosetta workers and hope these few are NOT representative of the whole bunch. OMG, clueless for real. And people think Noble hires the bottom of the barrel. The rosetta guys are the bottom
It's the people who want to stay who are your slackers. Scared to death of having to reinvent themselves and perhaps do something different... something more meaningful than pushing papers at Noble Energy. Would rather be bored out of their minds with nothing to do working for a company that has essentially set down all of their rigs, Just as long as I get my paycheck!!
Happy for some slackers and complainers to hit the road
I'll be happy to get my severance package and get the hell out of here! Life is too short for this garbage. Too many other things to do!

There are a lot of stressed out employees right now. But just like anything this too shale pass.
