Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

Just offered a position here as a contractor in IT

Wanted some advice as to whether I should take a contracting position at RJ for a 6 month contract in IT with the possibility to extend or roll to perm. I've read a lot of bad things on this site and I am now uncertain whether I should accept or not. Any advice would be grateful.

I turned the job down. After reading all these comments I'll take my chances elsewhere.

Would not stay any longer than 6 months. Then the honeymoon is over. Better off taking contract somewhere else if looking to try and land a permanent role

If you need a job, take it. You get to test drive them for 6 months too.
