Working at Weatherford is like working at Disneyland everything looks so good on the outside?
To say there is nothing but garbage left... That says a lot for how you managed while you were there ?? You hired em!! Being one who left by choice I will never say that all Weatherford has left is unproductive lazy employees there are many good hard working proud people who still put all they have into making their company successful and a good work environment . Many are good friends of mine. Some were let go due to management decisions for change in direction. Some maybe for friendship but that happens in all industries and always will. Setting back and whining about it serves no purpose. I left by choice for not agreeing with the new management structure but that does not mean their wrong just that I disagree. Many left for similar reasons. Some were let go for what may seem unfair justification to them but may seem just for others. If you don't like your job get a new one if you get layed off get looking. But acting childish and whining about how unfair you feel your company is makes only you look foolish in the end. Gut up life's short and most of the time unfair if you choose to look at it that way. Weatherford supports many families across the World to say they are a terrible company Is a very bold and unfair statement. Management changes very seldom please all but they happen and always will. You get to make voices also choose wisely...... To those still at the big W good luck and Gods speed to you all my freinds.
Weatherford was a great school to go to at one time! Thats all I felt I ever did. Learn programs developed by bogus companies that sold Weatherford junk! Learn to lie, learn to cover your ass and learn how to deal with cut throat employees in the process! How can it get any better than that! It will never be the same... It has been over thrown by a regime that resembles very much like our government.
Define a great employee if its working all hours in all conditions to meet deadlines at the expense of home and social life then I have to disagree its only the mediocre to non-productive employees left? The reality is like all the other service companies hiring exploded in the good times and now in the lean times many have been let go mostly short service employees granted this did include some experienced guys and old timers but to say we are left with just garbage is untrue. Yes working at WFT right now is challenging and stressful although we happily took the $ in the good times many are now just riding the storm and glad to still be employed. Have you looked a vacancies lately not a lot of hiring going on? Do feel genuinely sorry for those who went but don't judge all those still here with this mediocre to non-productive nonsense.
Too many stings controlling the puppets leading to exit of great employees keeping the mediocre to nonproductive.
