Life is too short so get out if you can as the people that I know who left there are all happy they did. You have to be in the Bootlicking Club to like it there, it's pretty simple. I have friends there who are talented & have been in the toy biz for a while but are not in the Club and still can't believe the decisions that are being made there. Nobody wants to drive to Burbank though or move back east so there they wait, hoping for a mass lay off of upper mismanagement which will never happen. Mondays @ MattHell is a good name for it. Mismanagement will just keep sending themselves to HK trips to shop/dine/party & misdirect all the work that's been done while the workers are back in El Segundo filling out useless, painful PLM forms. OUCH.....
I'm with you 100%. Every week brings new anxieties; "Is this the week I will be laid off?", "Will I lose any friends/colleagues?", "What terrible ideas, new directional changes, or BS will I have to smile and support this time?"
I'm trying to hang on. I'm trying to do the right thing and give my all to right the ship but the grass is looking ever greener on the outside...
