I really enjoyed being reminded by Meg personally how she and her buddies were partying in Barcelona, Spain for the last 3 months of 2014 in almost daily e-mails (apparently entertaining our "customers" in Europe? The ones we ended up bribing and getting caught at?). It was like they were rubbing employees' noses in the fact that they were spending millions of HP's money for their own lifestyle. Executives at HP do not understand the concept of "leadership" and couldn't run a lemonade stand without firing everybody who makes the lemonade, before bailing out on golden parachutes.

I'm sure Spain is a lot of fun, but HP hasn't paid for me to travel in 7 years. I can't say it is fun at all to be reminded that our execs can spend money we supposedly don't have to keep people hired while sending us passive-aggressive reminders to put the rest of us in our places.
I'll gladly "pass" on this "perk". I'd rather work for an employer who pays me enough that I can actually afford to go on vacation myself, rather than live vicariously through our glorious leaders' luxurious HP company-funded lifestyle.
Damn, you're going to take away one of our last perks and Spain is a lot of fun.
Barca is fun. HP is tanking. No worries. Barca is fun.
