The issue is not with Ziad, he is an excellent engineers - the problem with is the groups that did not provide him with better tools to mange the increasing complexity of chip design.

ZM is a nice guy. The issue is that the complexity of SoCs exceeded his ability to understand and really track the issues. He relied on KK who run him over, and others to keep things in check. The height of the tech mgmt pyramids is directly proportional with the inability to manage effectively.
