Per Morningstar, Paul Jacob's total compensation has been over $20 million since 2011. That is crazy for a company laying off middle class people. And Jana director Barry Rosenstein (big QCom investors) lives in a $140 million mansion in the Hamptons. Risk takers and company founders deserve a better lifestyle than the masses, but this has gotten crazy. Henry Ford never took a salary that much out of line than the average worker. He believed in Christian ethics. Pay a man a fair wage, unemployment causes social problems. Rosenstein wants to move Walgreens HQ from Illinois to Switzerland to save money on taxes. More middle class people losing their jobs while he lives high on the hog. Founder Irwin Jacobs is interested in Israel politics. That is his business, but let's focus on the well being of average Americans. When elites act this way, it ends badly. Hitler would never had an audience if not for common people being desperate. The average man needs a job, greedy elites should live more modest lives and cut their expenses to save jobs.

And you still keep electing Democrats? Really?
Agree with other posters - you sound like a socialist? Who cares how much they make and how much you make? If it was you with the burn rate PJ had, you'd NEED that $20mil to spend on coke and hookers, you would have no problem taking it.
The g650's need refueling so the layoff should be good for at least two trips San to ppt
Paul's busy with entertaining women
There will always be someone with more.... Don't you realize that? What's the difference between PJ having what he has and Bill Clinton having what he has, or Bono, or Bill Gates.
If you don't like how one person lives that's more about you than it is about them, people lose jobs everyday look at the business and the earning potential of it and make a determination about THAT not how much PJ has... He'd be rich beyond imagination regardless.
Well, PJ does earn something. He flies around the world (with his family and close 'friends') and collects awards and cuts ribbons. In between carefully scheduled events, he entertains said family and friend with very extravagant vacations....on the company's dime.
That's worth 1000's of employees their jobs...isn't it? ?
So what you are saying is ... Its not fair?! Who the hell are you to decide on what is economically fair or not. You could be living in a country with absolutely no safety net begging for pennies but you aren't... You are sitting nice and comfortable typing on an electronic gadget that half the worlds population can't afford. Sheeesh man gain some perspective.
Zeitgeist is finally happening in broad daylight in US. You should know by now what to do about it.
