The person who posted about M is obviously homophobic as well as racist and ageist. How wide and deep is this deviant culture of hate at University of Phoenix? I've observed an enormous number of these immature posts over the years and attribute the posts to dysfunctional management attitudes. Even if it's rank-in-file posters (some of the time), it reflects the leadership qualities and values of management.

@020 - I'm not sure what you're referring too. I've never experienced any of what you mention. Many years at UoP and always doing work with good intentions to put the students first. A lot of good work goes into them, and more for those who show effort but lack general intelligence. $10k for certs that would allow students to get their foot in the door into a trait is not a bad investment. Considering that most community colleges take double the time and cost just as much to only provide similar outcomes.
Yes, the culture of lies, deceit and just going along to get along are all alive and well here at the lunatic asylum. The master said he will give me a nice juicy spider if I enroll more of the unsuspecting. It'so rewarding being a minion of satan. Anyone have iced water? I'm thirsty 'bout now.
The culture at UOP is picking up quite a bit. Things are not perfect but there's good employee moral for the first time in a long time.
@357--please do us all a favor and throw yourself into a large garbage bin the night before Waste Management clears your bin and hauls you to the local landfill you miserable piece of shit shill. I hope you are on the 2K list of camel dung being let go in early October.
The majority of individuals who want to become nurses have no idea of what it takes to become one. Once they find out they are certain that going into nursing school is not for them. There are many who are let go to do their own research because they seem to be okay with the requirements, and more power to them for wanting to reach their goals. However, many also call and talk about the near impossible avenue to become a nurse after they have already given it a shot and failed miserably. Now they're stuck with credits in sociology, anatomy, chemistry and other nursing type courses that don't apply towards other majors. The enrollment reps job is to dig into the students capabilities to succeed. However the success is not the reps responsibility it's the students job to ensure they have the will to get to their destination.
There is no nursing shortage people. These schools only perpetrate that myth to make money. This lie had been going on for at least 30 years. And please don't fall for the B.S. in health administration unless you want to be a secretary, in which case you don't need to spend 40k going to a stupid school and tradhing your life. Talk to me if you want, I have no monetary interest in
not telling you the truth.
There are a lot of pussies who are complaining about how some characterize this fake school and its malignant executives and managers. STFU you limp dicks.
Converting students wanting to be nurses as you experienced is not an isolated occurrence. Enrollment reps are trained to point out difficulty of path to nursing and offer alternative careers in health administration. Basically discouraged to follow their dream. In point of fact, many of these leads will not obtain a degree in nursing.
I was in a meeting once where a director openly admitted that they enrolled students who wanted to be nurses in programs that wouldn't help them become a nurse. They figured any degree was better than no degree. That was the mentality. Sickening.
This site takes the cake for mutant often times incomprehensible and reprehensible comments. I really don't see this level of vileness anywhere else on the other layoff sites. If this is reflective of UoP, there is something very malignant going on there. I must also say that I believe in freedom of expression but stupid for stupid's sake proves nothing and turns people off.
