I used to work for CFN and still have friends there. From what I've heard they're going to lose a few jobs, a lot of which is leadership, in the San Diego Office, which was formerly the HQ for CFN. A few friends moved to their Chicago office as the Mergers and Investment groups (I believe) will be gone.
If you're being hired chances are your job will stick around in San Diego for the foreseeable future, although I don't think it's unreasonable to ask about the acquisition and its affects on your potential role.
