In Duncan you know when it's actually layoffs, the cops show up around 8-9 am. We all know it's coming. You have PGL's that spent last week going to their layoff classes. Their as stressed out as everyone else I'm the plant, some of them actually do care. Hard to believe, but true.
Most of us wish they would just get it done so we can get on with our lives and back up plans....limbo sucks!!!

I've heard the exact same and the build up of boxes in camps and the Denver office, other camps I've heard are going to be shut down. I heard it's all going down next week.

Hitting field camp right now. Three days of layoffs to take care of nights and weekends
Northern and Southern Regions will RIF 2500 by the end of next week. Its going to be ugly. Ops, Engineering, BD, closing camps, ect. No psl, group, or level will be spared.
They aren't going to have a 3 day layoff.
They get it done in 1 day.

It's not cool to get people stressed if you are just throwing things out there.
In many states they can lay you off for 60 days with no severance. Never understood why they dont save a buck or two and sit people for 2 months, and then furlough many when they come back. Could by them 6 months.
