Seems like that only applies to those in the know and not those who actually know how to do. They outsourced the Service Desk a few years back, what a nightmare and the person responsible for that is still there and being rewarded, while those who make ends meet and keep things going will be on the short list. BD used to be a great company to work for, but now it is all about the all mighty dollar. Every meeting, regardless which department is always about how much money they made and how much more they plan on making.

Another round went down today, then a meeting this evening where they announced an entire organization is going to be outsourced. They will not say to which company, nor were they will to share the presentation for fear of it leaking. Amazing, they preach family, family, family....but they continue to give so much away and put money where it does not belong, new offices, garages, forecourt, etc. Last tie I checked a family tales care of its own, and if it is between a family members mouth to fee or someone else's I choose family every time, but not BD
Yup! It has been common practice for BD to layoff large numbers just before the fiscal year end, so profits appear high. This year is no different. Rumors of huge layoff this week. Money money money. The motto is "doing what's right" but they cut off the rest "for our investors".
