Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

WARN Notices Updated

Has anyone noticed the WARN notices have been updated by office location throughout Houston? Not sure if these figures are arbitrary considering each location shows 50 people. Good luck to all.

I see it on cell B3 through B14. It is on the spreadsheet.

The WARN spreadsheet does NOT show COP. Not sure where you're getting the 50 number from.

I'm an employee at a competitor company that is likely going to have layoffs soon. Is there a way to check if my company has filed under the WARN act? They are not on the spreadsheet posted, does that mean they cannot layoff for atleast another 60 days? We have already had a round 1 and I do not remember getting 60 days of notice... and we had well over 100 employees let go.

Definitely no meaning behind the figure shown under each site. TWC put in 50, not COP. Check the FuelFix article that was just posted.

I imagine the figures are arbitrary placeholders. Chevron is showing even numbers across their locations as well.

And it appears they add up to 500 exactly (I think--the small print on my iDevice was eye crossing). I would guess the numbers are placeholders designed to meet the letter of the Warn Act requirements.
