Bitchin*'s fine, but what you really should be doing is this - WRITE YOUR CONGRESSPERSON - tell 'em that the "top dogs'" salaries should be slashed to save the "peons'" jobs. I'm making it easy for ya - here's the numbers, now get to dialing!!! http://www.congressmerge.com/onlinedb/cgi-bin/newseek.cgi?site=congressmerge&state=ma Are you really going to let this bunch of greedy people get away with this? Call & complain!!!!!!!!!
Basically they know they are going to have to settle the case based on the Staples case as a precedent (unless the lawyer really screws up). So what ever value the assistant managers held as unlimited labor is now gone. Staples started laying off assitants right after the suit was settled.
Staples Assistant Managers won a law suit for abuse of classification back in 2010. Working in an AT Will state had no bearing on the lawsuit, but it did help Staples fire the initiators of the suit.
Please file with your State Labor Department for unpaid wages. The company must pay you what it owes you.
You can google the Labor department's website for your state.
Fk them if they f*d you!!!!!!!!!
Have not heard of this what districts or regions is this happening in?
Yup. Got the I'm here to let you go. Leave you name badge and keys. No reason given. Our state is employment at will.
Has anyone been laid off because of this yet?
