why would OD/ drop AM because of a Lawsuit? What proof do you have that Staples has fired anybody?
-Watching From Afar is absolutely right. I am one of the people over 40 on a PIP. I am damn good at my job, but my IA has let it slip that they were instructed to purposely make the ZBs high and to undermine me at every opportunity. The plan is to give my team sup my job and the IA the Team Sup job after I am let go. So I started writing up the IA. Whether you work for Stapled or OM/OD get legal advice and document EVERYTHING.
Yes. Omax stores in East that aren't closing have laid off the AMs.
Lets be clear - No One gets "LAID OFF". They get a PIP and fired or they get sick of the BS and quit.... LAID OFF is NOT one of the options...

And this surprises you why? I remind those that regardless of whether you are in a right to work state there are many ways to fight back legally. Seek legal advice. If you are more highly compensated you are also probably over 40 years old. That's all it takes to claim age discrimination. Document what they are doing and why it's unfair. Note in detail how they attempt to hold you to a standard that is not applied equally. Send them emails documenting this and make it obvious that you are doing it!
This won't save your job, but it probably will force them to back off and pay you a severance (this is what they are attempting to avoid). I'm pretty sure this policy was devised by "O". He is not that smart so just follow the info above and you will achieve the best outcome.
