The next employer will notice your good work.

Funny, I've recieved 2 in the past year - $1000 each. In March I was laid off after 2 years at the company and 2 #2 ratings. Hate to be glum, but don't think anybody actually notices your good work

I'm surprised no one told you about this ahead of time...you should have received a letter from your boss. I got one last year that amounted to $500 after tax.

Special Recognition Award. Info aplenty online via the ConocoPhillips Intranet. More often than not the amount is $25. The teams have budgets in the thousands of dollars but as with so much at ConocoPhillips the process is smoke and mirrors or friends and family. The most common amounts are $25 or $500. Determine the source and inquire on the written form for notation in end of year reviews. And for those involved in the layoffs, questions associated with recognition from supervisors of other teams is not out of the ordinary.

I've received a few of them over the years. Your boss or someone in management that you've worked with can award them to you for exemplary work. I'm surprised they are still awarding them in this market.
