Coming to a location near you!!!
Staring: HUMAN RESOURCES, SHAREHOLDERS' INTERESTS, & EARL P'S GHOST!!!
hey buddy, got the time?
Sounds like one big shart! !!! Yeehaa :)
Son, I fear there's some warm winds a'blowin' here. Stay in this industry awhile, and you develop a sense of what's a true drawers stainer and what's just a puff.
"Out of all of that, i came away with.."Strategy for the Longevity of Bosses". That is what's being toiled over? LMFAO. So not surprised by this post. It just confirms the ridiculous rhetoric & BS within this company. This makes me sick. I truly hope that this is not someone who is closely associated with what's going on behind closed doors and is just long winded fart written on the page. How about the strategy of the longevity of employees (SLE)? What's that, we'really not a concern? It is so comical how some organizations become misguided believing that their management actually creates revenue for their employees!! HAL & Sperry are a faceless clock with wandering hands.
Management would like it to be known and understood that the future of our organization is of the utmost concern. With the increased attention given to rampant discussion forums while attention given to actual management rhetoric subsides, this location was deemed the most advantageous for the dissemination of our recent proposal information. As the company continues to beat into the headwinds of the current economic situations, while simultaneously navigating the unknowns presented by the business situations at hand, your management is making plans to bring our division to a final safe harbor, for our longevity is our most important concern. Consequently, after many long hours of arduous discussion we have embarked upon a selection of plans to ensure our future. Out of these discussions came longevity directive 1 and longevity directive 3. After much deliberation and back stabbing, longevity exercise 2 was voted down due to failures in addressing the technical merits and ownership of the included items. Longevity directives numbers 1 and 3 were decided to be the most chartable courses going forward. The burden of a decision to decide which plan, 1 or 3, should be the priority plan was then placed upon the management team. Following several high level and heated discussions, the management team decided that the most pressing item should be to rename longevity plans 1 and 3, thereby noting the transition from the original 3 proposed plans to the final 2 candidate plans. With that said, management began preparing for the presentation of these 2 key proposals, that would be known going forward as Longevity Plan A and Longevity Plan Alpha or respectively, LPA and LPAlpha. Having reached this gating milestone, presentations for each plan were created, addressing the potential outcomes and merits of each plan with respect to the requirements, technicality, money, time and resources required. With the presentations complete, it was decided that neither plan, LPA or LPAlpha was feasible and would not be prudent at this juncture and have therefore been scrapped. The common denominator of all the plans considered did highlight the importance of retaining those most valuable to the organization’s continued operations and as a result a Strategy for the Longevity of Bosses, or SLB, was developed and is currently under review for finalization. Management is always approachable and is willing to consider a discussion of this new SLB plan per request in writing. Thank you. And may we remind you to “stay the course”.
Oil will be cheap for a long time. Iran is insisting on pumping another million plus by next year. Ditto for Iraq. U.S. Production has only plateaued since the rig count reduction.
another year of this.
All over North America. HAL is global. Which means reductions are spread wide across every PSL. Every district. Q3 will hurt BAD!!! Q4 will hurt worse. 2016 Q1 will be numbing. BY Q2 2016, at least a third of what's left today will be gone. This is reality. O&G Industry is doomed. Brace for impact. Pray to God. Good luck.
5917 - let me guess, the sunset? no, oh let's see it's raining? no, uh what puberty? look your gonna' have to let go a few more details than that bud or you'll be known as "dutch". yawn and fart
It's happening!!!
kinda draws a parellel with the post abut Nepotism and favourtism. but the sperry purge won't purge the folk who ran our ship into the ground in the first place - there goes un now.
Anon 143813 is right. Saw the same thing when Nisku manufacturing management made its way to NB. Oh well would love to see the face of whoever buys Sperry when they open the boxes marked Numar.
ahhh, Sperry, going beyond the 8088.
Nepotism and favouritism is how the world works. Most workplaces that go through hard times experience that. It's North American culture, Halliburton ain't run like a Japanese company. Let go of the anger. You need to heal the mind. It's not you fault, life ain't fair. The management did fail you.
No kidding. Nepotism, favoritism, and arrogance are in Nisku's Core a values.
Sperry Canada has been dead ever since their ranging patents expired and other companies were able to enter the market. Sperrys cavalier mentality and poor customer relations is now giving way to clients using othe companies. With unconventional plays (SAGD) not seeing as much action...GAME OVER! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Nisku is coming close to getting shutdown. It is best to be laid off now, while they still can offer decent severances. Don't expect that to last for much longer.
Mr.Halliburton stated his employees were his company. Started working for big red when it was still grey on top red on bottom of trucks and pumping units. One of the finest and caring company's a person could work for.
In the 90s the Halliburton family revoked Mr.Halliburton flying H logo they didn't like the way the company was being run.
How ever posted the above didn't even know how to spell Mr.Halliburton name.
DD/MWD managers @ Nisku Need to Go! BD OVERHAULED.
CONSULTANTS furloughed.
