Sorry to tell you mattel is not considered about quality or design. Just. Cheap piece of shit in the box that came inn below cost. No onder kids and parents and and buying less! Thanks China and Corp greed

Agreed, they took the wrong approach years ago and have been on a self destructive path ever since. All those trips to China to reduce cost and look where it's got us? We make crap.
It's all about shaving costs & quality through out the entire Design Center. Who cares if Barbies soft goods now look like toilet paper and their male action figures can't even have enough paint operations/decoration to make them look like something worth buying. Same goes with the crap play sets that Hot Wheels & Matchbox are cranking out. The wall thicknesses are now so thin we can almost see right through them, can't even add paint hits, just the crap labels if they can afford those........Cheap ass packaging structures, quality, what's that? What they should do is eliminate that entire useless, no nothing CPI group as there is another ENTIRE other CPI dept. in HK that even argues with the ES CPI !!!!!!!!!!! I see them in mtg after mtg just surfing the web, & they get sent to HK to do the exact same thing and OF COURSE the shopping and dinners they go to. What a waste of money for absolutely nothing. Disney will take their last license in the building and give it to either to Hasbro, Tomy, Thinkway or just slice & dice. Good by Cars 3. Yet they continue to keep the SVP's & VP's who put us in this terrible lose, lose situation in the first place.
