Starting at Dropbox in December, 245k, all in. Lol @ state school grads.

LOL $250k in the total comp is nothing to brag about in the bay area. Plenty of state school grads making two or three times that doing similar work. For a junior university grad that's pretty pathetic actually.
Lol.......This is a total douchebag liar...But anyway, even if you did earn $245k on a W2 in the bay area, you're still middle class....Your effective tax rate for federal+state would be 40%, so you're looking around $140k net. Lol.....You still won't be able to afford to own in the bay area....
@@Anonymous142065, leave the bitter trolling to the landlords.
Douche
@Anonymous142065 - the sheer fact that you post junk like this proves that you are indeed a miserable and psychologically unstable creature. Go enjoy your 250K package and shut the fuk up
To all those who think I'm lying: It's okay peasents. You can never reach my level of accomplishment. Get back to work and write those Perl scripts. Ciao.
@142419 There is no GPA on official transcript but you can see your GPA on Axess lol. Also, you need atleast a 3.0 to graduate from MSCS co-term. Are you sure you went to Stanford?
Actually this is quite possibly true (the salary part). Dropbox is among the many "Unicorn" startups in Silicon Valley (> $1B market cap) that are way-overfunded. There will be a huge crash in about 5 years and all the Unicorns will go extinct. Unicorns are the result of a recent securites law that allows mutual funds to gamble your life savings in silicon valley startups. The law was supposed to let "little people" invest in startups, but the big mutual funds have created almost 100 Unicorns, the biggest of which is Uber with a $50B IPO and still not IPO'd.
I left Q a while ago, I make more than this braggert who just got the Dropbox job, and I get invitations from Unicorns via LinkedIn every other day.
Nice try, the only talent you have is trolling, and you hare doing a somewhat fine job with that. Finally, just a quick note from a fellow Stanford alumni - all graduate programs are P/F at Stanford, hence no GPA is attained, obtained or provided. I hope this helps, you little liar.
It's funny how small the world really is, particularly in the tech sector....
"....certainly no one is going there as..."
..yup..just texted my buddy over there at dropbox that is doing talent acquisition....certainly no one is go there as an engineer with a total $245k comp package.... You're way off, even with a generous sign on bonus that they give out....
same @ andover? https://youtu.be/aETu7Wj9yaI?t=181
um... bullshit... I know people at dropbox... no you didn't get a $245k/year comp package.... nice try....
Andover? Did daddy go to Exeter? Is he a yalie? How silver is your spoon?
OP: Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard. Clearly you are the sort of chronic underachiever who needs the academic pedigree.
Seriously, how hard is it to do this anyways? No biggie
Except for Berkeley, Wash and UIUC.
