@ Anonymous180337 - You are very HILARIOUS! If you were that connected in the industry as you claim to be, you would be working at a company MUCH BETTER than CAM. SLB is coming for you and your ilk. You better RUN while you can!!!
Naw, I'm not worried about being laid off. I have enough connections in this industry. Just take my severance and move on. No reason anyone who is worth a damn should be panicking.
@ 180113, yes I left CAM about a year ago but hold some CAM shares that were awarded to me as part of my compensation at CAM. Consequently, I have a lot of interest in what happens to CAM. As I am sure you know, after the closing, all CAM shares will be exchanged for some SLB shares and cash! Perhaps, you are not even "high enough" at CAM to have equity compensation and may therefore not understand the need to follow an ex-employer in which you hold shares. Having said that, I stand by my earlier post that SLB will LAYOFF many CAM employees after the transaction closes. After all, that is partly what SYNERGY is all about!!! You should be SEARCHING FRANTICALLY for a job instead of wasting your time posting on this site!
I was thrown out by a south indian manager an year ago and today I am doing well. Still I am following up the Cam and my team.
