Bahahahaha! No but seriously? Are they?

695 - There's a new one. Bra f***en vo! Someone get this tool a biscuit!
@676--I'm not joking. You really are a dumb f***er. Don't tell people you went to UOP or derision will follow.
657 - Your jokes are predictable. I'm not surprised.
@638--Your writing is deplorable. Let me guess--you're a UOP graduate, right? Please see your local community college for an English composition course.
@642--"Who" are you to be "proud" of those that bought his/her degree from this hallowed institution?
Oh and let me add that it makes me proud to see multiple commencement ceremonies across the nation each year granting diplomas to all of UOP graduates. YOU ALL DESERVE IT! Now let's hear it from all the haters!
488 - let's be clear. We are speaking about UOP here. Don't mix them into the bunch. They do stand as their own entity within an industry that has been mimicked since birth. This "fraction" you speak of is already there. They were once at 600k active students, they are now just over 200k. Traditional universities have just begun to intend to cater to this demographic of students. They have not been around long enough to see how their stats will also suffer and they'll have no clue how to fix it. DOE will come down on them and they will also force to shut down programs with poor outcomes. Just wait and see. Yet UOP has already bared this scruitny and beginning to show signs of great improvement. So again, you're an idiot to think that this giant will be buried.
@NWO--nope. For-profits will not be able to compete with traditional schools and their online programs. They will contract until they are no more. Some may be forcibly closed closed or they may have Title IV funds suspended. No, for-profits will shrink drastically, and UOP will be no exception.
UOP will continue to be a leader in the industry for working-adults. Even at 100k students they would have one of the largest student base. It's actually quite impressive to think that even at a fraction of their previous 600k student body size they are still one of the top.
132--people don't like the employees who are complicit in the scam. UOP needs to shrink in size do that it's a tiny fish in the education sector. It's good for imbecile students who countenance attending a for-profit, fake college, and it protects the taxpayer. Just leave if the heat is too much for you to handle.
I'm cool with a layoff. I'll take the pay and enjoy the holidays. All this emotion towards uop employees makes me laugh. They get mad about where I work, and I get paid whether I stay or go. Sounds good to me. Hopefully next week I start my paid holiday, the sooner the better. Have fun being miserable lol
Still the anger. We will all get new jobs. Layoffs will be streched over years. Please help yourself. This anger is hurting you. Do not let anger hurt you over a college.
934 - you're still a fool.
@889--sorry you had your fake degree handed to you by this diploma mill. You ride the "short bus" in life, you simple-minded whore. You should be nervous--your job is in jeopardy. UOP is being "right-sized", but assholes like you want to pretend all is rosy. Now STFU. Hahaha.
Stir up trouble bad. Why anger. Where will your anger go if UOPX closes. Po will get new job. You will still have anger. Please love and free your self
None of you doom and gloom idiots knows a single thing about when layoffs will be. Will more come? Of course. You people that say to 'expect them here and there' know NOTHING. Only stirring up trouble.
I am a dumb f***
816 sounds like a broken record too. All of these anti uop'ers sound like broken records. "100k after FTC investigation." "Bird got plucked and fed." "Sham school." My goodness, all backed up by nothing other than insults because it makes them feel better. Sounds like you guys got plucked and fed and now bitter. Stupid fools!
The ACICS is now under fire for doing absolutely nothing about these sham schools for way too long. Look to lose accreditation pretty soon too, they are going to have no choice if they don't want to get closed themselves.
The feds do not care. Expect massive layoffs in the second week of December, that's the word on the street. Again, IT to be hit hard, enrollment too.
@813--the feds will right-size UOP until they have fewer than 100K students--massive layoffs will happen.
They'll cut off many other schools before UOP. There's no reason to cut them off. I just hope they can manage to keep as many employees in as they fine tune themselves back to sea level.
Why not both?
Why so much anger. Love is best
You won't be laughing when this company is cutoff from federal funding and most of you are laid off. UOP is unlikely to fail, but thousands will be shown the door in the next several months. If you believe otherwise, you are a dumbfuck.
